Seeds and Roots Montessori

Located in New Westminster, BC, our school has been a part of the community for over a decade offering a Montessori preschool program that is collaborative, hands-on, and based on self-directed activity.

Children are encouraged to take charge of their own learning and make creative choices as the teachers act as guides and observers to assist in the process.

Small group work, as well as individual learning, takes place in the classroom, and children are given the freedom to explore, discover, gain independence and build a solid foundation for lifelong learning.

Our Montessori

Preschool environment is designed to meet the needs of children in the 3-5 years age range.

Through Dr. Maria Montessori’s application of her method, it was discovered that experiential learning in this type of classroom led to a deeper understanding of language, mathematics, science, music, social interactions and much more.

Pre School Hours of Operation

Morning Hours: 9:00am – 12:00pm (Monday – Thursday)
Afternoon Hours: 12:15pm – 2:30pm (Monday-Thursday)

We are offering a before and after school care program with pick up from Lord Tweedsmuir Elementary School for Kindergarten – Grade 5. Spaces are limited!

Before/After School Care Hours of Operation

Morning Hours: 7:30am – 9:00am (Monday – Friday)
Afternoon Hours: 2:45pm – 5:45pm (Monday – Friday)
